Why do you love to DJ? I love to make people dance and spark joyful memories when they hear a song they love.
What is your favorite DJ memory? One time I was DJing at Scam & Jam (a huge party I’m a resident DJ for in LA with +1200 people). Someone accidentally pulled out the power cord to the DJ equipment while I was playing “I wonder if I take you home” by Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. The song cut out right when the chorus hit and the whole crowd was singing so no one really noticed that the power went out! They kept singing until I was able to reconnect! haha it was EPIC!
What’s your proudest DJ moment so far? Ohh this is tough, but having Snoop Dogg join my IG Live while I was Streaming for Bella Dona during the pandemic was super cool. He gave me props on my DJ set. 🙂 I also DJ’d a private event for Rosalia and she came up to me and said that she loved how I DJ’d!
If you could DJ for a celebrity’s party, whose would it be? I can’t pick just one! Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Oprah, Missy Elliott, Rihanna, Bad Bunny, Kristen Wiig.
If you could DJ in any time period when would it be and why? During the late 90s! That is when I started going out to clubs and had the most INCREDIBLE time. The music was soooooo good at this time across ALL GENRES.
