Event Venue
Anaheim Convention Center in CA
is one of the largest convention centers on the West Coast, spanning over 1.8 million square feet of event space. It is conveniently situated near Disneyland Resort and offers state-of-the-art facilities, making it a premier destination for trade shows, conferences, and large-scale events.
The American Physical Society (APS) Global Physics Summit stands as the pinnacle of gatherings for the physics community, a place where groundbreaking research is shared, collaborations are forged, and the very fabric of our understanding of the universe is discussed. Bringing together over 14,000 members from across the globe, this prestigious event is a hub of intellectual energy and innovation. When the organizers sought a unique and engaging way to enhance the attendee experience and provide a memorable keepsake, they turned to Extraordinary and our innovative Photo Mosaic Wall Experience
A Universe of Connection: Engaging Thousands of Scientific Minds
The challenge was clear: how do you create an interactive experience that resonates with such a diverse and intellectually driven audience? Our answer was the Mosaic Booth, a dynamic and visually captivating installation that allows individuals to contribute their own photos to form a larger, unified image. Set up within a high-traffic area of the summit venue, the Mosaic Booth quickly became a focal point, drawing attendees eager to participate in this collaborative art project.
As physicists engaged in discussions about quantum mechanics, astrophysics, and beyond, they also found a moment to step into our booth, snap a photo, and become a part of a collective masterpiece. Each individual picture, seemingly distinct on its own, played a crucial role in the final mosaic, mirroring the way individual contributions drive progress in the scientific community. The process was simple, fun, and offered a refreshing break from the intense intellectual discourse of the summit.
More Than Just a Photo: A Collaborative Commemoration
The beauty of the Mosaic Booth lies in its ability to create a tangible memory of the event. As the summit progressed, the mosaic gradually came to life, revealing a stunning visual representation of the collective experience. Attendees could return throughout the conference to see the artwork evolve, spotting their own contribution and marveling at the scale of the collaboration.
Our team at Extraordinary handled every aspect of the Mosaic Booth experience, from initial setup and on-site support to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants. We provided clear instructions and friendly assistance, making sure that even the most camera-shy physicists felt comfortable joining in the fun. The result was not just a collection of individual photos, but a vibrant tapestry that symbolized the unity and shared purpose of the APS Global Physics Summit.
A Resounding Success: Engaging Attendees and Creating Buzz
The response to the Mosaic Booth was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees shared their excitement on social media, posting pictures of themselves participating and the evolving mosaic. The interactive nature of the booth fostered a sense of community and provided a unique talking point throughout the event. Organizers noted the increased engagement in the designated area and the positive buzz the activity generated.
