The Rammy Awards, hosted by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), is the premier event recognizing the best and brightest stars of the D.C. culinary scene. While the main awards ceremony is a night of high honors, the celebration afterward needs to match the energy and excitement of an industry defined by passion.

  • Game On for Networking: To balance the high-energy dancing and photo ops, we introduced a selection of classic arcade games to encourage lighthearted competition and networking. We provided a mix of fan favorites, including the fast-paced Air Hockey, competitive Foosball, and high-octane sports challenges like NBA Basketball and the 2-Minute Drill. These games were strategically placed to create fun, relaxed zones where industry peers could laugh and connect away from the main dance floor.

He helped with formulating different ideas at the start of this project and supported all the way through to the day of making sure his team arrived to location on time for set up. We hired a Michael Jackson impersonator/performer for my husband’s 50th and couldn’t be happier. He was super talented, on time, professional and enjoyed the party with us. Our guests said it was the best night of their year. It was a seamless and professional booking process. Doug provided excellent advice for how to set up the stage for this large outdoor event, which was changing as the crowd size kept growing and the plans had to be adjusted. Before the event he and his team set everything up perfectly. During the event his team provided advice for handling large crowds and media at future events. We are very pleased with Extraordinary's services all around.

Chris Meyer was fantastic to work with during the sourcing process, and Stephanie and Reese were all-stars on-site during the event! The entire team was communicative, helpful, and clearly experts in their fields. The process leading up to the 75,000-person expo was handled expertly by Chris and was easy to do. I'm busy, so I appreciated this! He had great recommendations and was always quick to reply. On site, Stephanie and Reese were a great team and the photos were fantastic. Stephanie was proactive and when we had issues with the on-site provider, she was on it so fast! It made my job on site much less stressful and we were able to average over 250 large group 3D (Array) photos/day (including nearly 300 during the half day!), so it was a great investment. I will definitely work with Extraordinary again and I've shared their info with my colleagues so they can do the same when they need a photo vendor.
