How much time do the aerial acts require for setup?
To ensure a seamless and spectacular performance, our aerialists require a preview of the event space prior to its commencement, along with sufficient time to rehearse in the venue. Typically, this entails an allocation of 2-4 hours before the event begins. Additionally, our performers need a private space, separate from attendees, for pre-event warm-ups and preparations, guaranteeing their readiness to deliver an extraordinary performance.
How much space is needed?
The required space needed will be based on the needs of the hired performance. Below is a general overview.Â
If the Venue Provides Rigging:Â Support needed for a working load of 2000 lbs (910kg) and dynamic swinging motion. Aerial equipment can also be hung from I-beams and trusses given that they satisfy the aforementioned force requirements.
If your Artist Provides Portable Rig:
14′ (12′ x 12′ footprint) – must have over 14’ clearance for setup
16’ (14.5’ x 14.5’ footprint) – must have over 16’ clearance for setup
18′ (16′ x 16′ footprint) – must have over 18’ clearance for setup
20’ (18’ x 18’ footprint) – must have over 20’ clearance for setup
