Frequently Asked Questions About the GlamBot
GlamBot is a technology popularized by Cole Walliser utilizing a robotic arm capable of high-speed movements paired with a slow-motion camera. The end result is captivating slow-motion videos with playback between 240-600+ frames a second.
The Glambot generally requires a 15×15′ footprint at a minimum. This may vary based on the size of the robotic arm but can be used as a good gauge. You will want to make sure there is plenty of room so guests do not get too close to the robotic arm.
Based on the event logistics and needs, Glambot generally takes 2-4 hours to install. You will want to verify your venue has a loading ramp or loading dock as well as an elevator if we will be setting up on a higher floor. The robots are very heavy and will require a way to roll into the venue and to the service area.
Each session generally takes about 1-2 minutes. Users will receive a briefing on how it works and tips on how to pose if needed. Due to the high-speed movements of the robotic arm, something a second or third take will need to be captured to get an amazing video.
Glambot will need access to either 220V – 30Amp power or 3-phase based on the robot being utilized at your location. We will want to make sure the power is easily accessible within 50′ max of the service area.
Yes of course! You can add anything you would like as an overlay to the videos. Logos, text, styling elements, colors and more are all possible to leave an impression.
Yes. The download speed will be based on the workflow utilized at your event. Our fastest process allows sharing within seconds of the session via text, email or QR code download. If we are utilizing the ultra-high frame rate Phantom camera, post-production will be necessary. Users can expect to receive videos within 20 minutes to an hour after the session.
