The DC Caribbean Carnival Community Celebration recently brought its vibrant energy to the Apple Store Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C., and Extraordinary was delighted to enhance the festivities with a wide array of entertainment and audio visual services, including some truly engaging game rentals. Our goal was to create an immersive and interactive experience that celebrated Caribbean culture and fostered community spirit.

Setting the Stage for a Fun-Filled Celebration

From the outset, we aimed to provide a multi-faceted entertainment experience. Guests were immediately drawn to our interactive roaming photo booth, capturing joyful moments and creating tangible memories of the celebration. The laughter and excitement were contagious!

 

Our strategic lighting design played a crucial role in transforming the venue, bathing the architectural beauty of the Carnegie Library in vibrant hues that echoed the energy of the Caribbean. The colorful ambiance set the perfect tone for the day’s activities.

Engaging Activities for Everyone

The karaoke station continued to be a popular hub, with attendees belting out their favorite tunes and celebrating Caribbean music together. The enthusiastic participation highlighted the strong sense of community at the event.

The Super Social photo booth provided a fun and modern way for guests to engage with the celebration online, creating and sharing branded photos and videos that amplified the event’s reach and excitement.

 

Adding a unique and interactive element, our silent disco rentals allowed guests to groove to different music channels through wireless headphones, creating a personalized yet collective dance experience that was both captivating and thoroughly enjoyable.

Leveling Up the Fun with LED Game Rentals

This year, we were also thrilled to offer a selection of our awesome game rentals, which added a fantastic layer of interactive fun for attendees of all ages. Our LED cornhole setup was a hit, with friendly competitions lighting up the venue. The glowing boards added a visually striking element to the games.

 

The classic arcade game of LED skeeball also drew enthusiastic crowds, with guests testing their skills and vying for bragging rights. The bright LED lights made the game even more engaging and visually appealing.

 

For those seeking a more strategic challenge, our LED chess set provided a unique and visually stunning way to engage in a timeless game. These game rentals provided additional opportunities for interaction and friendly competition, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Providing the perfect musical backdrop for all the fun was the talented DJ Dior. His expertly curated sets, blending infectious Caribbean rhythms with popular hits, kept the energy levels high and the dance floor buzzing throughout the event. DJ Dior’s musical expertise was integral to the overall celebratory atmosphere.

Extraordinary events is just that - EXTRAORDINARY! I booked them for a corporate, all day event with about 200 children throughout the day + parents and families. The staff came even earlier than expected, was professional, kind, and knowledgable about all of the games. We were able to get a varied selection including a photobooth, VR, arcade games, basketball, etc. for a very fair rate. I didn't have to think twice about them throughout the day as they were professional and knowledgeable about the games - so I was able to be hands-off. I can't wait to have another reason to book with them! Matt was also an absolute pleasure to work with on the back end, and was so patient as we worked out the kinks.

I hired Extraordinary Entertainment to provide a magic mirror (similar to a photo booth) for a school fundraising event. They arrived an hour earlier than they said they would which I found very helpful. They have a wonderful graphic designer that was able to create a nice template for our photos and all the pics turned out really nicely and were delivered to me within 3 business days. I was also looking into renting a stage and a projector from them but we decided to use what we already had at the school. But knowing they are a one stop shop for all things party related (minus the food), I would not hesitate to reach out to them again for the next event.
