Move and Shoot: Use the trackball to move your Bugblaster left and right across the bottom of the screen. Fire your weapon upward to shoot at enemies.
The Centipede: This long, segmented enemy moves horizontally. When it hits a mushroom or the edge of the screen, it drops down one level. If you shoot a middle segment, the centipede will split into two smaller, independent centipedes.
Obstacles (Mushrooms): The screen is filled with mushrooms. These act as barriers for the centipede. When you shoot a segment of the centipede, it also turns into a mushroom.
Other Enemies:
Spiders: These move erratically in your section of the screen; shoot them for points.
Scorpions: These crawl across the top of the screen and poison any mushrooms they touch. If a centipede hits a poisoned mushroom, it will quickly dive straight down.
Fleas: These drop vertically, leaving a trail of new mushrooms.
Survival: Avoid touching any enemies or getting hit by their projectiles.
